Small bird ID help

[Peeb108 4]

Captured last week on a hike at the Ghost Ranch (North and West of Santa Fe NM). Smaller than a robin. What is this little feller, if you know. Thanks!

Consulting google, my first guess would be female American Goldfinch??

EDIT: Pine Warbler looks closer to me....

Not a Goldfinch. I will need to take a closer look tonight. Possibly an Orchard Oriole

Body shape seemed to sleek for the goldfinch.

The pine warbler looked closer, but they shouldn't really be in that region in June should they???

I looked a little further & I am not ruling out Western Tanager. Any additional photos ?

Scott's Oriole is another potential

So I showed the photo to another birder & his first impression was Lesser Goldfinch. I am only familiar with American Goldfinch which allowed me to rule that out pretty quickly

Here's all I've got:

[waday]

Lesser Goldfinch

It does look like a female, but I'm not a birder.

Merlin Photo ID is excellent. I ran a match & they also had Lesser Goldfinch as the # 1 match. Pretty confident in there software.
