This is a shot from a day hike out in Jasper National Park when I happened across a lone deer strolling through the woods. I had to do my very best to sneak up on the girl to get a decent shot, this is pretty much the moment I stepped on one twig to many and got busted. For you wildlife photographers out there, do you normally go searching or do you hide and wait?
This is a shot taken a photos before the one posted above. I was almost spotted here but luckily the tree I was creeping up behind hid me well enough and approaching upwind I'm sure helped out a ton.
