Ely Cathedral over the roof-tops

Taken by the changing colours I walked down the farm track beside our house

Not a strawberry in sight and ice forming on the fishing lakes

Just the start of a snow flurry coming up fading the Cathedral . . .I just got indoors in time! On my way back from posting overseas Christmas Cards.

Second and third are very good; first and last lacks something captive in the frame

I lived in a mountain city, this geographic territory is so flat.

It goes below sea level between us and the Cathedral - was bog before being drained in the 17Century - now fertile black fen land. You would not say it was flat if you pushed a barrow up my garden . . . All early settlements and our village goes back to the bronze Age were on hills or ridges out of the wetlands.
