I like this but I wish it was a lower branch, one where you could see the snow on the ground as well.

If you stand on your head and count to three backward, then everyone might like it just as it is...There are always things one can do to an image to improve it and this one is no exception but being from the land of no snow, I find it quite energizing. I am intrigued by the last leaf standing as to why it still stays attached. I do find the BG to be a bit bothersome and wonder if a slight tilt to the left might not be so counter intuitive to the slant of the driving snow. Looks all Brrrrrrrr-ish to me but I like it.

Thanks for the comments. Yes, sometimes people just want a different image. Re balance, this is cropped from the original capture and I put the branch where I did because it and the snow are "pointing" towards the bottom and left and I thought the image needed some room there.

I don't know Brian, it's hard to be sure what people might think is artistic. I do B&W when I think that expresses what I want better than color, but here it felt important to show it the way it looked - more of a "realist" image than most of those I do.

Me either. makes sense.

It is a decent image just a little weak imo. Bw would bring all those little snaking twigs out with a nailed focus. You like it that is the main thing.
