I took seven 50 something mm lenses & shot the same frame with each this morning in order to compare the results. If you are interested, you may view the results @ the link below as my Photobucket account is nearly full for the month.

the bokeh of the Takumar 55/1.8 look smoother than the other one
 
Thanks for taking the time to do this. It's interesting how differently these lenses render out of focus areas - the sharp edges in the bokeh of the Minolta Celtic 50/3.5 macroare worlds apart from the Takumar 55/1.8. Pretty cool.

Other than bokeh & edge/corner sharpness I see very little difference between them. If I were to sell the "extras" I wound keep the Macro for Macro work, the Minolta 50/1.4 & the Helios 58/2.
