Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
This is my first picture post to the forum. I've recently been experimenting with HDR photography. I would enjoy some CC on this image. Thanks in advance for anyone taking the time to look at the pic. I've been very critical of my own work (hence, always seem to talk myself out of posting). I believe I've gotten better on exposure, etc. but am still trying to get my composition more interesting. Anyway, this was taken at a small lake in Wyoming in the Wind River Range. Taken in the evening during stormy weather.

I like the composition and exposure. HDR is a tad overbaked for my liking.

This happens to be a pretty good picture...that just happens to be done in the HDR style! Thank goodness you actually have a decent subject and a good composition! The HDR treatment is just a bonus.

Thanks for the kind feedback. Being new to HDR, I think I tend to overbake most of my images. It may be a function of the "newness" of the look to me. Maybe when I gain more confidence in my technical and artistic abilities, I will tone it down. On the other hand, I do like a sense of the surreal that HDR provides.

You could have made it over saturated, but you didnt so Im not sure what they mean by overbaked. Sure it looks like its been tone mapped, but what about it is not right? Lots of noise in the clouds. Overall its a pretty decent image.

My eye keeps getting drawn from the car, along the shoreline to the distant rainstorm, and back again. A lively shot, and a great job.

I like the shot a lot... but something about the car looks like its been distorted (like leaning or elongated along the left side?) i can't figure it out.

Either way - like this shot a lot. Its pretty BAMF.

Thank you for the kind words. I think the distortion is because I was using a Tokina 11-17 at full wide-angle and didn't correct for that distortion.
