This one was taken a long time ago. I had not even been in the Marine Corps two years at this point.

This was taken March 1st 1995 in Mogadishu, Somalia. This is a scan of a print so it is a little dusty and scratchy. It is a self portrait, moments before I lost a whole lot of innocence.

wonderful picture! i always liked war photography...maybe because I have a few friends who travelled to Iraq and Afganistan and Bosnia ... thank you for sharing and if you have more of such pictures.... please post them
