All b+w is good for this forum, so post away. You seem to have made the most of of a couple of fairly mundane subjects, though I keep wanting to turn the first one through 90 deg cw and it could use a little more DoF. The conversion looks pretty good to me though. And welcome to TPF.

There's something with photo #1, like Chris said, it seems to lack depth. I like the angle though. It made me turn my head sideways.
