Of the first set of three, I like #2 the best. #1 is too much of a snapshot, and I'm not big on B&W, but #2 really brings the focus on the bridge.

I like #4, although it might be improved by putting the fisherman off to one side or the other.

I normally don't go for the sepia stuff either, but it works for me in #7.

Thanks rlemert.
On no 3, I played with the settings to give a really soft, ethereal look.
No. 4, I felt worked because of the rocks in the foreground framing the fisherman, even though it goes against the rule of thirds.

Bump for the day crowd

#1 and #2 are okay but there isnt much going on. The third one is nice but I think if you added spot color to the water or something to make a punch. Or not. Maybe thats just me. The ones in the mirror are nice for the effect. The edge of the mirror frames the photograph. I like #7. #8 is crooked and I would have liked to see more of the machine. It looks too cropped. #9, the animal is out of focus and the rocks are not. I would have liked to see the animal in focus.

Wow thats kinda creepy. The mirror shot is a cool idea, but I think if I walked into that bathroom and saw a dude with a camera on a tripod, I would question how badly I had to go.

LOL. That's exactly what happened. 2 guys were so freaked out (they walked in together- don't ask) they walked right back out. some other guy thoight it was a really cool idea, and did the same thing on his iphone.
Even though, I was on the opposite wall of the toilets, so there was no way to photograph anyone in a compromising position.

Thanks for the comments BJ
1, 2 and 3 were all showing the reflection of the bridge in the water, and all else around is framing. My idea of a triptique (I've just started to really like the idea of three photos showing basically the same scene but each in a different light)
Thanks for the comments on the mirror and no. 7.
No. 8 is fairly tightly cropped, but not crooked, it's the machine standing on uneven ground, but I see what you mean about wanting more of the machine in the photo.
No. 9, unfortunately, is EXACTLY what you said. Such a pity.
