The sun was at that perfect angle that my hood just wasn't cutting it. What I would've given to have some long monkey arms! 😄 Trying to keep my fat fingers outta the frame was the next biggest challenge!

Ugh. Repacking 4 or 5 inch supply line sucks, period. Luckily, if there is alot of it to be picked up, we just call in the inmates from a local prison and have them brought out to pick everything up for us

That's what probies are for. Lol

I, too, like to photo that is angled slightly.

My favorite is the firefighter in action on the side of the truck- with the water on the ground and stuff spilled all over, the thick smoke in the distance, I can really feel the crisis of this situation whereas the other photos relay the"getting business done" aspect of firefighting which is the norm. My husband is a firefighter, so I know that most of the job is really just that- a job- but the few crisis moments are really the more interesting as far as photography is concerned.

Thanks for the compliment Kyra. In that shot, the firefighter was in reality, just casually climbing down off the truck. I'm glad I was able to convey a sense of drama through the image. The one I had high hopes for was the one with the FF running towards me with the big fireball in the background. I was trying for a nice tight shot with just him and the fire behind him. All the bystanders in the background kinda kill it for me. That crowd kept getting bigger too! I finally gave up and moved to other parts of the fire.
