The first one is an exhibit at the Smithsonian. Basically it was a spotlight shining through a square gobo onto a round glass that was spinning in circles close to the wall.

At which Memorial were the last 2 pics taken? I should be able to figure it out, but I'm not quite sure.

It was at the new US Air Force Memorial...apparently, it's the first Air Force memorial in the US.

I think it had just opened when you were in DC.

Yeah, the headgear is what made me think "nope, that's not one of the memorials I saw". I would have liked to see that memorial. Next time I'm there, I'll see it for sure.

When we got there, we both thought, eh...nothing really jumping out to take pics of, but as the sun went down, it got better and better.
