Fair warning. I'm far from a pro. My best changes constantly. :) Posting this in general because it's going to cross several categories.

1. Kaleb. Casual shot.
Nikon D50, Sigma 55-200@155mm. f/5. 1/400

Nik D50, 18-55 @22mm, F8, 8 sec exposure, ISO 200.
Processing is CS3/LR3 for noise reduction.

3. Weber Creek in Motion.
Nik D50. the 55-200 again@70mm. f/22, 3 sec exposure. ISO 200. Tripod made of a pair of flat rocks.

these are good, very good. Proves it's not necessary to spend thousands to get quality shots.
 
Good stuff.

I'm diggin' the VW shot, thinking that if you backed off a little might not feel so constrained if you got the headlights fully in frame. Nice colors. A circular polarizing (CPL) filter would remove the reflection in the top glass panels.

Well, I'd probably need a wider angle lens to pull the headlight buckets in. To get that shot, the camera was laying on it's back on the asphalt and pointed vertically. I was specifically trying to get those reflections and from an angle where I could get more of the nose in, the reflections distorted oddly. Using a polarizing filter would also have killed off the reflections, so for this shot they'd ruin the effect. Thanks for your suggestions though!
 
Great shots man. You could have fooled me into thinking you were a professional haha. Loving the creek shot for sure.
 
I loved the ironic title of #2. The flow in the water of #3 is just beautiful!
