Hey, maybe some of you have already seen these, some of you haven't. But it doesn't matter; please comment on the following pictures (be as detailed and "rude" as possible lol. I want to learn). This is my first camera and ive only had it for one week, so could you explain to me without using to many "photography vocabulary" lol.

I am using the same setup. Are you using a speedlight or ambient light to get that effect. I can't seem to get that lucky. Maybe I need to start trying to shoot some macro.

Im using the natural light (if thats what it is called). I dont have any other flash exept for the D60's stock flash, but i never use it cause the object always looks way too shiny.

If you don't mind me asking, what ISO, Shutter Speed, and Aperture setting did you use on those photos? They really turned out spectacular. I wan't to try to replicate the effect.

I know i had the ISO at 200 (i think lol).. But i dont remember the shutter speed nor aperture setting. Sorry.

In #3 I added a little bit (about +15) of saturation.

Nice shots. If anything could be said I'd might move that flower just a tich to the left since there is a lot of dead space to the left of it. The DOF is fantastic though.

great photos, i love how the colors POP out.. what exactly is #3.. its very interesting, but i'm not 100% as to what it is (which i think is one of the reasons I like it)

It looks to me like a twist nozzle water hose end. I could be mistaken though.

Thats true! lol.. Its a water nozzle.
