Round the garden with my 8yr old granddaughter looking for different colours for her scrapbook.
She was in seventh heaven as my "yard" is big enough for her to be able to pick without it noticing!
Gladioli hiding in the veg patch - an excapee from last year!
Nasturtium - again self sown and a spicy addition to my salads.
Runner beans - picking already and covered in flower. I am told that they were originally cultivated for their flowering and I always plant some sweet peas with them.
Finally the (cabbage) White. Tolerated as fortunately I do not grow brassicas on out sandy south facing plot.
