This is just outside of the farm where my girlfriend rents (student house). Really foggy. I borrowed girlfriend's room mate 40D + 18-200mm, and got some shots!

I thought portrait better framed scenes. Leading lines into the scenery. Plus, I wouldn't be able to get the moon in the shots otherwise.

A couple others caught my eye (1,3 and 8) but I threw them all back in the pond when I came to 9

I see where you are coming from. I just feel like a few of these shots have way too much empty sky. BTW, I'm talking about 2, 5, and 7.

I would LOVE #1 if not for the tilted horizon... I love the colors and composition. As a series, i really like them, but as stated, I think some would be better in landscape.
