Like I said to BillM If you watch the replay Lockette was wide open for an easy touchdown. easier than Lynch would have had with all those D lineman kid made up about four yards to make that play. Just a great play by Butler. One of the greatest in Superbowl history. But he wont get the credit because he's a WORLD CHAMPION PATRIOT!

Awesome play by Butler and unreal that he could keep his head in the game even in the final seconds when faced with such a crushing loss. A lot of that has to be credited to the great coaching these guys receive. Brady was legendary scoring 14 points against that defense in the 4th Q. I had rooted for Seattle against GB but lost all respect for them last night with their total lack of class both when they were certain of victory and when they were certain of defeat.

I think the best team won and the worse team lost. I think lots of key plays were made by key players allowing one team to gain more points than the other. You could say that the defense of the winning team prevented the losing team from scoring as many points where as the losing team let the winning team score too many points. Classic mistake.

I didn't have a favorite in the game, but it was obvious that the Seahawks made a stupid play call. Lynch was nearly unstoppable all during the game, and as you know, the Seahawks had three downs to move the ball one yard.

Still, I suppose a stupid call from Pete Carroll was far better than stupid calls by the officiating crew.

But all joking aside, I've seen Seattle fans complaining about Bevell's playcalling all year. I think that may have been the last straw.

100's of shoulda woulda plays during the game. I heard some stats of how poor Seattle did all year with Beast Mode running inside of 2 or 3 yards of the goal line and it was not impressive. I still would have given it to him.

What stands out to me among many plays is the refs missing an intentional trip by a db that fell down. But.....they also missed a push off by a Seahawk receiver that resulted in a big play. Oh well. Can't wait for the draft.

I really would like to know what the other half of the country was watching instead of the Superbowl. (what what show came in 2nd?)
