Snow- and rain-bound, and still somewhat locked down, my thoughts turn to springs past, including a few March days some years ago in southern Andalusia, as well as a couple in Gibraltar. Thinking of sunnier times and places.

Wish I was there. Pleasing set at this time of year.

a great series, esp. the second one and the last two.

Very nice set, I like #2 and 3 best. Did you happen to get any pic from the top of, "The Rock of Gibraltar?"

Nope. I've been to Gibraltar twice and have never gotten to the top of the rock. A lot of people think Gibraltar isn't worth the effort, to which I strongly disagree, but so be it. It's definitely a weird place, with such things as e.g. a surprisingly large Jewish population segment (unusual in Iberia, duh) and what is ostensibly the largest mosque in a non-Islamic country. The latter was a gift from the Saudi king in the 1990s and reportedly can be seen from Morocco.

Here are a couple more images from Vejer and Medina Sidonia, two very picturesque villages in the Cadiz province

I really like the wider shot of the village. There's something about all the planes and angles.

All in all it looks like a really cool place to visit.
