speaking of new toys

I just got a 2nd hand Wimberley II gimbal head from eBay :mrgreen:

Its great, once its set up it just balances your lens, move it anywhere, let go and it stays pointing that way. It also makes your gear weigh nothing, you can pan around using your finger tips.

total weight of camera, extender and lens is 4.4kg but on this head it feels like 4.4g !

I might even get rid of the camera and lens and just keep the tripod head
