I know,I just meant looking through the settings.Looks like a work horse and super clean from what i can tell.

I would rate it EX+ condition.
cant tell shutter count on a D100, but it was a backup of a backup so...do the math.

Very cool. I hope raj enjoys his new gear

You guys are all incredible!! Faith in humanity restored.

every so often I have a moment of decency. this might be one of those moments.

I have met some of the most amazing people since joining this forum. Of course it's easy to say that when you're at the receiving end of something so wonderful, but cross my heart, I'd have felt the same way had pixmedic decided not to give this away. I really really appreciate the camera and the lenses, but honestly what matters so much more to me is the emotion that everyone has shown around here. I've never felt such overwhelming emotions & support, and have my doubts that I'll ever see something like this in my lifetime. :blushing:

I've also realized how difficult it is to properly thank people without over-exaggerating anything, I wish my writing skills were better.

I am so grateful to each and everyone of you guys who have contributed for this and those who have wished me well. Thanks Mr. & Mrs. Pixmedic (I am sorry I don't know your real name :( ) for this generous gift, and even more so for creating this opportunity to see such an amazing support for me. I guess a bigger thanks goes to the Mrs. than the Mr. in this case . I'm really honored that you guys felt I'm deserving of it and made an exception to break the USA-only rule for this one. You guys have given me so much more than just a camera ( and I don't mean the lens ), just let me know if you need my medical history ;)

Thank you so much Robbins, David & Sharon for chipping in for me; I've never seen anyone do something at such a grand stage for someone they've never even met in person. And the unexpected gift from Sharon was just the icing on the cake. Thank you so much guys. I really enjoy the comments we share and discussions we have on the forum and have learned a lot in this short time. A lot of thanks to Lew as well, I've been receiving a crazy amount (that's a lot!) of support and guidance from him for some time now and I am really grateful for that.
I realize this entire episode wasn't very cheap and also requires some good amount of management/co-ordination among you guys, just thank you for going through all this trouble for me and all the love I've been given. I honestly don't know what you guys saw in me, but I'm amazed and humbled by all the attention I've received nevertheless and is something I'll treasure for the rest of my life:lovey:.
I am sorry for responding so late, took me some time to get my head around this entire phenomenon. Did I say that I have met some of the most amazing people since joining this forum? :sillysmi:

I can't think of a more deserving person to get this! I take it no one had amazon payments?

Damn, I was going to say that/this!

Okay, forgot to add the quote. I blame it on my teary eyes! You all are jerks for putting me through this!

GROUP CYBER HUGS ALL AROUND!::hug:::hug:::hug::

AWESOME. It's really cool to know that a group this size can come together on something like this and that there are plenty of people out there willing to pitch in.

Going to be totally honest here,I am teary eyed over this whole event.Call me a wussy i don't care. The last time and probably the only time in my life I was teary eyed was when I lost my loving sister @ 52 and my dad a month latter@76. Yes different teary eyed but still a emotional one. Funny thing is,I am not on the receiving end.Dang I am getting soft heading towards my golden years, what's wrong with me.:lmao: Ok Self punch in the face fixed it.

Laughing out loud @ you. Glad I am not the only wuss. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. I just edited my little post prior to reading this one.

This is a good time for anyone to look for small dSLR type stuff that they don't use and drop the in the mail to Pixmedic.

I will send a small sensor swab and a bunch of Pec-Pads for cleaning sensor (liquid won't travel)

Any CF cards or filters available?
