Speedlite 430ex vs. 430ex II

Other than the faster recycling time, are there any features that differentiate the two? I'm wondering if it's worth dropping the extra 50 bucks for the EX II. Or rather, if it's worth Santa dropping the extra 50. :lmao:

Specifically, are there any differences in the swivel head action? Doing my research, some sites indicate the ExII has a better swivel... and others say they are exactly the same. I'm having a hard time finding an apples to apples comparison.

I actually thought of this too before buying my strobe. Although I can't tell you a straight answer, I'm very happy with what my 430ex can do.

I've found pretty much same answers; swivel the same, EX has a slave switch, EXII a little faster recycle and longer battery life (probably not by much).

My 430 EX is in the mail. 430EX+stofen omni bounce+shipping=$217 Cameta Camera.
