G'day all

I noticed these small birds scurrying around the ground nearby - a mixture of small bushes and spiky spinifex grasses across a town up in the Northern Territory (of Oztralia).

The birds make no attempt to fly, rather they scurry across the ground with their tiny feet clocking at hundreds-of-steps per minute! I sat on a large rock for 5-minutes and they returned to the area near me and so these images were quite easy to create

As always, feedback welcome

I don't see no mouses :friendly_wink:, but it is a lovely little bird!

I've never heard of this particular bird - really exotic looking. Nice shooting!

You guys got some interesting critters. Nice shot!

Nice shots.

Stunning shots of a stunning bird Phil. Love seeing the wild life from far afield.

Thanks fellas
Yes- we Downunder have plenty of very interesting critters and most of them are good to "shoot with the camera" rather than via a gun!
