Just-refurbed Ashford spinning wheel. The resident handspinner/knitter is back at it. Hoping for a new heavy outdoor sweater made from water-repellent, almost-greasy unwashed wool. They're slightly smelly(walking lamb chop?)from the retained lanolin but shed water and stay warm even when wet. Told a couple whole fleeces arriving from Frontenac County, Ontario this week.
