Someone was asking about this not too long ago. Maybe several 'someones.' I just happened across this.
Seems that the 35 mm Nikkor f/1.4 G is the best, and the 35mm Nikkor f/1.8 is the best value. (unless you favor bokeh over sharpness, in which case the Sigma is supposedly better. I like the bokeh on the f/1.8 Nikkor better than the Sigma's though)
Seeing these on the camera, I don't think I would buy the f/1.4 even if I had the scratch. It is an absolute beast.
