Stanford vs Texas II

So rather than focus on the batter like I did last year, I concentrated on the 3rd base position. Both the games I went to had very little action at 3rd, so I found myself hoping for anything at all. Texas ended up getting swept in the series. The celebration shots show the disappointment. I thought it was funny starting a slide that far the bag and shutting your eyes too... Oh well, not to exciting I know, but better luck next time...

True... 3rd is my fav...sad part is, those are probably the best images I got for the weekend. They were dreadfully bad games.

That's the downside of baseball, you can get some great games, pictures all over the place, and then the others it's a struggle to find anything to shoot. I used to shoot a pretty good amount of baseball and by the 3rd inning I was ready to leave, falling asleep isn't very professional. You can only shoot so many pictures that all look the same, especially if it's a regular season means nothing game.
