nice work Michelle, stormy scenes on the beach are my kind of thing a suggestion though, when doing these kind of landscapes your horizon needs to be straight so I'd recommend straightening your horizon a bit

I also noticed the horizon tilting to the left. It is also too close to the middle of the image for me, so I might be tempted to crop a bit of the sky out because for me, the important part of the image is in the beach and the approach to the beach. I also think that having the person in the picture makes the image. I really like this image - it has a lot of potential.

Why does everyone say the horizon is on an angle?
The only time it wouldn't be is if you are perfectly perpendicular to it.
The left side horizon line is closer to the camera then the right. This makes it seem like it's not straight
