Inside of a very dark stupa in north Laos, I saw this 'decoration' of strange money.
It didn't seem like real Lao money; it had no numerals and it didn't look familiar, but it was well printed and quite different from the 'ghost' money or joss paper I had seen years before in Vietnam.
