More street shots of late. A few are from Union Station, taken while I was waiting for a friend.

I was in the process of a fresh uninstall of Flash Player. That was probably the problem. See them now.

1. I like the fisheye look.
2. looks very nice. Looks like a postcard. Very nice indeed.
3. is very nice though it could stand from some white balance I think? Just a little dull and lusterless to me.
4. I really like a lot. Looks almost like a Michael Jackson shot with the spot lights on the white suited guy. I can almost see the piano steps starting to light up!
5. is just missing something for me. Maybe crop it tighter to the milk stand but then you lose the angle of the street... Not sure.
6. could use some more curves work or something. Too dark in some areas and blown out in others.
7. is bleh to me for some reason.
8. I love the little dog and the perspective from his view. Looks like he is checking out another dog. I like this one a lot.

All in all good shots. Some can use some PP but other than that great job!

Thanks.
With #3 I was trying to make the photo look a little bit old fashioned, which is why the white balance is off.
With #6 I was trying for something a bit surreal and abstract. I purposefully blew out the highlights of the sidewalk.
With #7 I had some really poor lighting at that point of the day. Personally I like the photo but think it would work way better is I'd had some sunlight to work with. Oh well.

Thanks again for commenting.

I don't believe the 1st one was shot with fisheye right? Just wide angle

Ron: Yeah, that's what I first thought of as I saw the person approaching my light spot. I'd set up knowing that due to those ropes someone would have to walk under the spot of light eventually. After about ten minutes this person came along.
UDrift: Yes, you're right. Not a fisheye but a Tokina 11-16mm wide anlge lens @ 11mm.

Good captures overall. However I don't really get #7 though...am I missing something?

#2 man, that angle of the bird and shadow cast in relative to women to the right, makes the bird look gigantic - Nice illusion!

Is that a Maltese in #8....my daughter has one!

The title of #7 is "Happy Billboard". I shot it because the tear on the billboard looks like a smile. It's not the strongest one of the bunch, for sure.
As for the dog in #8, I'm not sure what it is but if I ever got a dog that would be the one. Your daughter is a lucky girl.
