Summer camps

I've been working at summer camps this whole summer -- two camps for international students, and one for inner city middle school students. I took a million pictures, almost all candids. Here are some: All kinds of comments welcome and appreciated.

C&C per req:

1. Not bad, however shooting "up" at someone is never usually the most flattering way to capture them. Also watch for things "growing" out of your subject (the pole at her right shoulder). It's the classic 'tree out of the head' but it is something to be mindful of.

2. I really like the expression of the girl with the read headband. A shame about the person right in front of her. I think a tighter crop to elminate the parts of people around her would help greatly.

3. Nice summer candid, but again, watch positioning and the background. A lot of distracting elements in this one. Sometimes it's just a matter of waiting a moment or two.

4. Not bad, but way over-exposed. Too many blown highlights. Ensure you know where your camera is metering, and when dealing with bright sunlight and light/white elements compensate accordingly.

5. Good.

6. Nicely done B&W and good job on the selective colouration.
