Summer laid her simple Hat
On its boundless Shelf --
Unobserved -- a Ribbon slipt,
Snatch it for yourself.

Today was the last day of Summer. I know Summer is ending when my wife's anemones bloom. She has a big clump of them to the right of the front porch. I caught one this afternoon just in time before Autumn arrives.
