Summer Sunbeams in a Wood

I took this in late July around 10.30am There was some lingering mist through which the sun was streaming. This photo is more-or-less as it comes from the camera, just scaled.

Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, f/4, 1/100sec ISO 400. I was there for a recording session in this newly-acquired nature reserve, so I used my compact rather than my DSLR.

I like the general effect, but would welcome any suggestion as to how it could be improved.
