Hmm. Well, I think that when you composed this photo, you should have decided on one or the other: more bright summer sky and less ground, or more bright lit ground on the bank of the river and less sky. The fact that the horizon goes almost right through the middle of your photo makes it a bit "boring" in appearance, there is some more "tension" in a photo that puts the horizon either on the border to the upper third or the lower third of the frame.

And I find this photo a bit empty.
Were you on the river bank all on your own? No one with you? No friend, no dog, no one? I feel this could have been livened up a little if there was SOME kind of "action" or a person, or maybe only a red ball (for example only!) within your frame.

I see what you mean guess I didn't notice before because that spot means something to me.

I guess what I need to do is compose the shot better and try to bring more emotion to the picture.
