Sil, very nice image - I really like the building and itsa juxtaposition with the smoother water. I am assuming you are looking for comments on your images. If the image had been mine, I might have put a bit more contrast in the clouds. I am also curious why you did not clone out the "stuff" floating in the water in the lower left quadrant. Because of the contrast between the "floating stuff" and the water, I find that it is this debris that catches my eye, almost immediately.

Western....thanks for the comments ... all very fair ... the clouds have not contrasted for two reasons ... there is a bit of digital noise in the sky ... with the contrast is accentuated ... then depends on the context ... I wanted a picture ... soft ... the debris in the water that are branches ... I left them because I really like everything that comes out of the water photographed in long exposures ... thanks for the very kind response ...

Sil, thanks for your explanations. We obviously have different styles in our landscape imagery. It is always valuable for me to understand other approaches to these types of subjects. I may not always agree, but then it is only through honest exchanges that we can understand why others do what they do. I always learn from such exchanges.
