Sorry about the insomnia, but if photos like this one are the result ... then not being able to sleep might be a blessing . A pity that you're only presenting it at 500px wide ... we say you may well resize them to 800px wide for presentation on the forums. It sure makes a difference to presentation!

Ah. Better.
But now I see the noise. What were your ISO settings?
Have you ever heard of NeatImage?
That's a programme (demo version of which can be downloaded for free) which takes out noise from noisy photos. You might want to put your photo through that? (I have used only their demo version forever and am still quite happy with it: www.neatimage.com ).
