To be honest, and this isn't easy with you being experienced and me being a beginner, but they ain't doing a lot for me. I do like the light on the frost ones but all 3 are a bit boring in my humble opinion.

great shots ron!

however in the 1st shot the jet trail is petty distracting.. and its not the hardest thing to remove in post.. but its not the most fun either =P unless you dont mind the jet trail.. and it has a purpose being there.. i would try to remove it.. or reshoot if possible?
also the motion in the branches at the top of the frame are not needed either.. crop into the shot a bit and get rid of the branches that are not in focus up there..

as for the other 2 they are both very very nice.. only thing that i would change that i think james is also noticing is the crop.. it looks like you got a really nice SHARP focus on those branches / leaves .. i would do a macro style crop of those .. i feel that would make for a more impactful shot rather that revealing too much of the surroundings.. just a simple close up shot of really detailed frost on a branch can be very compelling. you're on the right path with the 3rd shot or the 2nd shot of the frost.. but i would crop into that even MORE.. worth a try =)

I would not be inclined to remove the con-trails as they add interest to an otherwise bland sky.

For the third shot (I consider the best) I was literally laying in the garden & wishing I had brought out the G-pod. Hand holding & trying to maintain focus was quite a challenge at that distance. I was using a Minolta Celtic 50/3.5 1:2 macro.

Thanks for your comments cyngus.

I love the jet trail...Isnt it funny how people see things differently.

I nice warm glow of a sunset, with jet trails, equals holidays. And what better thought to have in your head during the winter months.

Nice on Ron

great photos, i like the first one best, love the colours in it.

stepollard.. agreed! haha photography is so subjective and its funny when people get into arguments about it.. like someones point is RIGHT and someones is WRONG..its art.. its meant to be interpreted differently =)

great work either way ron looking forward to seeing more from yah!

Really like the #3 especially if it was hand held. Background in
#2 seems too busy .
