Sunset Ride

The second week of my goal to shoot a self portrait each week (I know this isn't exactly a portrait, but I thought it fits better here than the journalism and sports forum). I'm not all that happy with this one but I promised myself I would post them all up for critique. I feel I placed the main light (speedlite with small umbrella) too central to myself, and so the shadows are a bit flat and boring. Also, I wanted to get the sunset sky in, but it just wasn't happening. I just didn't have the time to get the composition and focus right before the clouds rolled over and everything became a bit boring.

The color tones and lighting seem a little flat, and for something taken at sunset I really feel that this lacks that beautiful warm light that comes with shooting during sunset.
