Sunset Road

[Jarrod268]

Spur of the moment shot, hand held at 16mm, f/11
I thought the way the road curved into the sunset was interesting and tried to line up the road to lead it to the sunset into the image.
This is not HDR, a single exposure with post in Lightroom (using digital ND grad and fill lighting).

I like it...I would tidy up the halos around the hills on the left, but all in all, nice shot.

Head out on the highway...looking for adventure....heavy metal thunder...racing with the wind...that's the song that popped into my brain when I saw this photo...

I made several bracketed shots but I don't like my current HDR processing abilities. I have 5 shots bracketed at 1.0

Well, I don't have a wife but if I did, I'm sure she would be a country road...the one you'd miss if you drove by too fast but the one I would know intimately...
