Nice shot. I like how the dock takes the viewer's eye to the sunset and that you don't have the horizon right in the middle. A lot of "first-time" landscapers make that compositional error - horizon in the middle.

I don't mind centered horizons as long as the image is still balanced.

I agree, but I find those situations do not occur too often. The usual ones are where you have a "perfect" reflection of the sky and whatever else is above the horizon in the water below the horizon.
