NO! just as seen and shot. used Photog Ephemeris to get the positioning right. Building is in full line of just set sun and also got a dose of extra from water reflection. I did sharpen, spread out the contrast range, and cleaned up some aberration around the moon, I think I dropped the exposure a bit when optimizing the tonal range..

not as happy with this super moon shot as the one in 2014, the air was quite humid and the orange/red/yellow of the lingering sunset tinged the blue skies, and so the colors are less vibrant. but what the hey! got the shot. right? LOL

dead simple. put the pin at your chosen location, zoom in the map (it is nothing but GOOGLE maps, look at where the sunrise/moonrise line is. put the map in terrain mode(shows the ground bldgs etc) move the pin until the moon/sun line crosses where you want it and then go to that spot half an hour before the rise or set. and cross your fingers!

btw the 'trick' to get that moon large and near the building is simple! you simply use a telephoto lens which appears to enlarge distant, and compress distance.

Are you talking about the Ephemeris? I think it was Didereaux who mentioned it in another thread, and I looked into it. I also had a hard time deciphering it and I actually downloaded a free app called Exsate Golden Hour instead, which I found to be thorough, easy to understand and provided features that matter to me. It is also incredibly accurate.

Exsate is only an App does NOT use interactive maps. Here is an example of how I used Photographer's Ephemeris for this shot

The only issue I've had with Exsate is that it takes a minute to process moving the pin to a new spot on the map. It is an app only, but for me that's not an issue.
