Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
We have families of Superb Fairy Wrens that call our place home
They're accustomed to my presence and tolerate having their photos taken which is very kind of them
Here's a male in full colours. Some, but not all males lose the blues and become grey during winter months.

That's pretty Up Close and Personal!! They either really tolerate you or you've got a long lens with a steady hand... 😳

Very nice! I love these little Fairy wrens - their size, upward tail feather orientation, and the male coloring have great appeal.

You're lucky to have them near, and so cooperative! ;)

Thanks All, much appreciated

Jeff the manfern fronds certainly is one of my preferred backdrops.
These little chaps alight on anything
They dance along the window sill and up the sides and sing to us through the window.
But natural backdrops are much to be preferred.

Terri I'm forever grateful for their presence here.
I read others mention how skittish they are.
They're just part of the family here.

Joayne, G'day. Good to see you here :winky:

Not sure what protocol is here and even if others can post other Fairy Wren images of their own? Doesn't bother me but I'm not about breaking rules
This male was posing in the apple tree the other day

Very different from wrens here - normally a real pain to photograph.

Others say same with ours but these live around our house, yard and are very familiar with our presence and know there's no threat.
Only time they're difficult is when the are over amorous and chase each other all over the place.
But then there's those very special moments when they nuzzle up to each other and spend ages just sitting and cuddling
That's quite special
I'll chase up some images

Very nice shots.
