#1 is awesome. I love how you captured the birds in a circular formation. The only thing I would do, is to go into ps and take out the boat on the horizon - I find it distracting.

#2 - I really don't like the blurry grass in the middle of the frame. It seems unintentional.

I took the boat out and added a bit of color to the sky. Not to sure about the color though.

My eyes were so drawn to the formation of the birds that I didn't notice... hmm - still a sweet pic though.
