Yep.......that is a swan.....=)
The shot isn't overly interesting. A suggestion that I can give you is to chance your angle. The looking down shot is the same view we see all the time of a swan. Get down on the swans level and shoot it's environment. The Imperial Palace would of been an amazing add to your picture. Anything to say that this shot was taken in Japan!! Keep shooting!!

Thanks for the input. There are two bridges that go over the water front and I was using a 55-200mm, so it wouldn't have been anywhere as close to the subject as these are. Thank you again.
