I would prefer to see more of the girl, less of the top, OR a closer zoom on the girl so that the swing chains actually go out of the corner of the photo or even the side. That's my personal opinion.

I think some more contrast would help as well.

I really like how the picture looks candid (if it isn't) and love the black and white.

thanks. yeah i think you're right about the crop. Needs to be different. I can't seem to get more contrast in the image without blowing the highlights or putting her in major shadows, but i'll have to try again.

try using the magical wand and take her out of the picture and just add contrast to the back ground and the swing (if you know your way around Photoshop well).

I don't think I'd take a lot off the top. Perhaps about three links down the chain from the top.
