taking it in

Jon, I kind of like the original image. But to be honest the first thing I thought when I noticed the distortion was it looked as if it was shot by a quasi-fisheye lens. If anything I would not correct the distortion but see if you can enhance it to gain more of that look. Give it a house of mirrors treatment! Well thats my two cents, post any changes you make to it.

my best thought here is to agree that the comp was off. The biggest thing I would try is to lower the camera so the viewer isn't looking down on the person. Make the floor longer and more dramatic. Also perhaps straight towards the wall isn't the best way to tell a story. I would try standing further left and angling the camera to the right slightly while keeping the whole door frame in the picture. THis would narrow the front wall and could begin to tell a story.

A interesting picture. I would crop out everything white at the top
and also the door frame. Try it, you'll like it!
