Not bad for an affordable piece of glass.
Will be good for larger critters like butterflies, bee's , larger spiders, while keeping distance.

You ARE Special!!!!!

You got to watch out for Lightspeed! You know he's a heartbreaker!

Not like me.. Loyal, honest, totally easy to P-Whip!! lol!

Don't feel bad babe, you're first on my list.

Yea.. but that is a really LONG list! ;)

She's first.
BlackRose is married.
Lets not get into the specifics of the list.
When you're standing on a ten foot ladder with 100 foot roll of glossy and un-roll it until it hits the ground, while holding your arms up as high as you can.
It's a long list.
She's first.

OK I'm back. 26 minutes was long enough.

Hello Gipson. lol
I knew you would be here. haha
Anyway, I'm just testing something out that's considered somewhat unorthodox.
That is , sticking and MC7 2x macro focusing teleconverter on the camera, topping it with a 25mm extension tube, topped by the Raynox DCR250 and of course the ring flash.
I had some ebay bucks so the converter was kinda free, brand new. It's a pretty nifty piece of 7 element glass.
I know all about degradation of image quality, but I just wanted to test it out.

This is what I came up with. Not too shabby.
This is one of the really small species of hover flies.
Head is about the size of the ball on the point of a pen. Give or take.

Nice Shot! Did I mention that I sold my Macro lens? Yep.. somebody bought it within minutes of posting it! I am putting together my own secret weapon! BWAAHAHAHAAHHAAAAA! (ever tried to get a permit for home nuclear fission? Ain't easy.. I promise!)

YOU SCARED HIM OFF LIGHTSPEED !!!!!!

he knew he was defeated. knew he couldn't hang against you.

way to go!!!!!!!

He's probably modeling his leopard hat for some unsuspecting woman.

at least we hope it's a leopard hat.

it could be a leopard thong!

Let us hope Gipson doesn't take it too far.
I'd hate to see him on the cover page of " High Times."
