Kirk, no offense but the subject matter is mundane. However, the texture, color, clairity, etc, etc, etc is awesome. I've taken pictures like this before (small subjects on a large canvas so-to-speak) but I found that deep blue background really makes your image "pop". Thanks for sharing. I kinda wish I could be in Florida this time of the year! :icon_thumleft:

I understand and thanks. I should say I see this tree in person, the whole tree and I thought it had a lot of character. One of the things that make photography so hard is trying to capture everything that induced the feeling you get when you're there and convey it to the viewers. I suppose a wide angle lens might've helped for that but at the time I was focused on those red leaves that caught my attention and didn't think about how mundane it may seem to someone not seeing everything. It's a grand looking tree the way it's branches reach out. Hey, thanks for your honesty!
