Has a somewhat Hemmingway vibe minus a little hair. It has a rather stark feel that is both disturbing and uncomfortable, yet interesting, I had to think about this one for a bit.

Both lighting and other technicals are good. Self portraits are extremely hard to catch focus, however at f/14, I would expect a greater DOF to bring sharper details overall. That would be my biggest negative on the shot, as the only thing even close to sharp is the right eye. IMO the overall softness detracts from the edginess of the image.
