Here's a few of B.o.C. on her own. I managed to catch her where you can clearly see the difference in the coloring of her head when compared to the male.

I hadn't considered that stink eye look in the 3rd one but I see it now. "Someone's putting the camera down or someone's getting a hole pecked in their head".

I guess that would be a "yes" but these were actually taken through a closed window from inside.

The nest is quite high but they do come down to the feeder and suet basket. I've noticed that the male a female feed differently. He feeds almost exclusively from the feeder and sprays seeds around until he finds what he wants. She will often feed from the suet basket but I also see her feeding off the ground, something I've not seen other woodpeckers do with the exception of the Northern Flicker.
