Rebecca, Old windows and doors are always a fascination for photographers...if yours is a genuine question,so many members will have to answer this, even here, in our forum....personally i like such images.... let us see what is the feeling of others regarding this (please don't take this in a bad sense )

Interesting doorway, but I think the plants are a distraction. There is a nice contrast between the cool light on the outside of the door and the warm light in the interior. The greenery interferes with that. I would crop tighter on the bottom and sides to remove most of the plants and partially desaturate the rest. This will also make the interesting textures and lighting in the center of the image larger and more prominent in the image.
