I really like the details you have captured in that first shot. The eye details are great and something that is not often seen - IMO the only improvement would have been if he had been looking directly into the camera.
2 and 3 I think are great shots and you are getting the detial out of them and in what looks like on an overcast and grey day. However I would say to improve try to get the light behind you as you shoot, that makes those dark patches round the eyes stand out more so the eye is not starting to be hidden in darkness (shot 2 shows this, shot 3 is fine in that aspect)
Only final thing (and its often the trickyest at times) is that 2 and 3 would really benefit from getting a little lower - only a little mind as you already have a great angle on them, but lower can make for some great shots (though also brings into view the background to the waterbody and that can present its own challenges).
Overall great shots - hope to see more
