Jon, I absolutely love these. I have been devouring gate pictures ever since the project started. I wish I could have been there to see it. My absolute favorite is the first one, and with all the gate pictures I have seen lately, I haven't seen one quite like that. Great job as always.

i appreciate everyone's kind comments but i've kinda messed these up. i found a way, in PS, to create my own curve settings and applied it to each of these. on the laptop they looked great, but then i saw them on a decent desktop and realized they're overly tweaked. i've now reduced the size here in hopes of lessening the blunt, but i still see it. thank god i shoot in RAW and keep all originals

. i had no idea there would such a difference in monitors. needless to say, i've trashed that custom curve.

Very nice work. I have to ask, I have no idea what the gates are about and TPF is the first place I have ever seen them, can you fill me in on the details?
